I DO NOT NEED AYN Thor and GPD Win 4. I DO NOT NEED AYN Thor and GPD Win 4. I DO NOT NEED AYN Thor and GPD Win 4. I have 4 handhelds that collect dust and that I don't use. I DO NOT NEED AYN Thor and GPD Win 4. But it would be cool to have them for tinkering and 3DS and PS3 emulation. And that sliding screen and physical keyboard on the Win 4 are kino.
I don't know what those are
>>143060 Overpriced (but fairly powerful for what it is) Chinkheld e-waste.
>>143061 ah. I have a Gemei A330. was nice while it lasted, but it died premature death due to defective power switch
in Kyrgyzstan we've got chips
I ended up pulling the trigger on a Thor , because I've never played DS or 3DS games, and it would be kewl to get into them. Hard to justify buying a GPD Win 4, when my OneXPlayer Mini Pro can do almost everything it can for half the price. Still, it's an expensive ass handheld. The most expensive one I've ever bought. But I might be able to resell it for more here, so it's fine.
>>143123 In Kyrgyzstan we have DS and 3DS emulation.
>>143063 RIP.
>>143298 what games are you planning to play on it
>>143308 Probably older pokemon games, Zelda games, Ace Attorney, Hotel Dusk, Wario games, and all kinds of RPGs that support dual screens.
>>143299 are you garch bro? all you do is play games >>143300 checked
hmm this feels like a deko post
>>143365 I actually have very little time to play games. All I do is work on weekdays and dream about gaming. I just don't post about my work. I've beaten maybe 2 or 3 games in total this year. I play games, but I rarely have time to do a full playthrough. My backlog is giant and long. >>143367 Maybe I ate Deko and absorbed some of his personality traits. Maybe that's why he hasn't posted in like a month or more. It doesn't read like a Deko post to me though. It reads way too manic.
We owned a Sega Mega Drive 2 in the 90s, and I don't think we ever beat a single game on it. We just played one game for a bit, then played another one, and so on. A lot of them were PvP or racing games without a story to speak of really. And if we played a story rich game, we never really progressed far. Some games had password saves, but we didn't really bother with those. When I was a NEET, I could do an entire playthrough of The Witcher 3, then play the entire Mass Effect trilogy, then finish the entire Risen trilogy, and then beat 30-50 other games in a year. But I can't play games like that anymore now that I have a full-time job. I guess these days I play games the way we played Sega with my dad when I was a kid.
Owning a Sega Mega Drive 2 in Kyrgyzstan during the 1990s was highly unusual and a major status symbol. Because of the severe economic hardship following the collapse of the USSR, the vast majority of kids who played video games owned cheap 8-bit Famicom clones like the Dendy rather than imported 16-bit Sega consoles.
>>143376 Thank you, FinnGPT. It was a gift from my uncel. He had a Mega Drive 2 at home too, so he must have been fairly well off already.
>>143374 I haven't finished a game in a decade
>>143387 I was like that in 2017-2020. Completely burned out on entertainment, had stopped watching movies by that point and hadn't seen one since like 2013-2014, stopped enjoying playing games. I'm a totally different guy now though. I watch movies, shows, play games and enjoy it all. I think I've said it before, but what cured it for me was finding a job. You don't have that much time to entertain yourself or do fun things all day when you have a job, at least when things get busy, so all you can do is dream about entertaining yourself.
>>143390 I have never ever worked a jerb and nobody will ever hire me They won't hire grocery store wagies nowadays because they're "underqualified"
>>143402 It's all about knowing people. Maybe someone will, eventually. I got my first few projects from someone on Ylilauta, funnily.
>>143404 I know nobody and also I can't even imagine associating myself with anybody from imageboards IRL
>>143410 Not necessarily IRL. I meant more working remotely. Regardless, there are a lot of good people on imageboards. I've met friends and dated people from imageboards. You just have to learn to vibe with people. Back in the day, Ylilauta was nice for stuff like that until toxic ryssäs and unironic schizos took over. Some people on there were actually friendly and nice.
