Kotka or Lappeenranta for russian border experience?

You can also cruise between cities on a steam ship and they all gather to Lappeenranta 13-14.7 for a steam ship regatta. Last summer I road tripped around the east and did all the mandatory shit like monastery visit and dam show and steam cruise and forest museum and defence line museum an shit

Remember there is no russos there so people will pick up a hitchhiker and also there is no russos there so you can safely get in some random peoples car. Sadly there's no cheap and easy option to buy something like a seasonal area ticket to intercity bus transport, only inside the cities and only to certain routes
