Here's an update to me learning to play guitar: i'm still shit :D I've been practicing almost daily for the past few weeks. I do see some progress at least. Currently trying to learn to play good riddance by green day. It's in the online course. Hardest part is the left hand finger movement on the fretboard. It's hard to control them fast and independently. Also bought some stuff like that guitar stand.

godspeed, sometimes it can feel like you've hit a wall and aren't making any progress, but every plateau eventually gives away with consistent practice (provided you don't have any physical disabilities that prevent you from doing required motions. but even then, Tony Iommi invented metal because he had no fingertips and I've seen videos of a professional Street Fighter player playing with his mouth because he has no hands)

I bought a selection of picks to try. I still like most the thinnest fender pick that came with the guitar
