>>31304 Maybe I shouldn't be getting bullied?!

>>31475 i don't need to pretend to be straight unlike the homobeer enjoyer like you
>>31511 Given your obsession on this homo subject and the fact that you've invented some "homobeer" term I've never heard before I have my doubts about that, Cpt. Sweden
>>31510 Fugging Creed :D Hot take: they weren't that bad in the end, and in fact had a few, dare I say, actual bangers
>>31523 i'd say the same with nickelback they werent that bad, maybe they felt generic then when there were 9-billion copies and many quality bands around to hate it but now we really are in decline in anything be it music or culture post 2012/13 ish
>>31529 Ye Nickelback's rockier stuff is actually very decent, good if not great. And ye, the biggest problem is that there were so many of those bands at that time it all blended into an endless sludge of same-ish stuff with little to no distinguishing features between any of them. No wonder people got sick and tired of it. Honestly if any of those bands came out nowadays they'd be a lot less hated.
>>31535 absolutely. The problem is there is barely anything out there than old music. New music sucks and most even indie bands are really really rare to find anything decent to get hold of. No wonder we look back, because it isnt just to music. I mean when was the last time you were really wow-ed by technological advancements or some new cool stuff and aesthetics. I cant really think of anything recognizable in 2020s than broccoli hair and maybe those kids being addicted to SoMe like snapchat and tiktok
>>31535 I just recently thought that, damn when it was that thread about old games. How I really should have kept those games with the big boxes, it would be worth alot now and not to mention they looked cool and came with all kinds of user manuals + artwork. Now there is nothing like that, you dont own even a copy of anything you buy, just a licence. No soul to anything. No ownership. Hence especially in modern day piracy isnt even stealing, when it doesnt hurt any of the bottom lines for companies. IF they like the product they are more than likely to buy legit copy afterwards anyways. Just back then you lived in the moment, tech advanced. NEW exciting products were immediately coming up so things were different, you just consumed and discarded. didnt make sense to keep big boxes around when things were later on being as is. thats just how it was. Hopeful new culture and sub-cultures emerged, new things.
>>31546 >>31551 Based, couldn't agree more
>>31517 >t. the one who "gets bullied on this board for my bier appreciation" have you tried drinking more masculine beers?
>>31551 need for shart based cringe shart lfmfao
>>31523 local radio station added this to their rotation a year or 2 ago (actually now that I think about it I guess it's been about 4, where the fuck did time go?) p good song overall. lyrics are a little repetitive but that's excusable >>31529 I feel like it was more of a meme to hate Nickelback than actual hate. People who actually disliked them were probably misdirecting their hatred at the symptom rather than the cause. All The Right Reasons was kind of a cheesy fun pop-rock album but there was a lot a marketing money pushing Rock Star and Photograph everywhere so I think it's fair to say that some people got sick of hearing them all the time, but you gotta blame the record company and not the band. Between about 2002 and 2004 when I was just starting to get into music, I listened to a top 40 station. I loved Evanescence immediately after hearing Going Under and got the album, but that was replaced pretty quickly by My Immortal on top 40, and it was so overplayed that even though I switched to a rock station by mid-2005 (that I later found out had a boycotted My Immortal completely), I really didn't enjoy listening to the song again until around '10 or '11.

>>31643 I get it now, the fruity Swedoid is trying to provoke me because he wants to feel some man hands on himself. Unfortunately for you the manhandling I'd dish out is not the kind you seek, so maybe you could just hit up one of those ghey bars you have on every corner and announce that you're seeking a very manly man. If that doesn't work I guess you could play dress up for that cat pic Jonne, maybe he's manly.
