Back in the day I had a Technics Hi-Fi with big ass subwoofer speakers, a big desk, Lidl and alko stores within a 5 min walkake from me, bichaelable area all around me,,,, and a screaming pigform motherst that's entirely unable to handle her red wine,,,, wish I had just shaken the anxiety off, kept it together, recovered the unused microwave from the basement and bought a mini freezer to use in my room, it all would've been so much better
I got this stereo in like 1997 for just a few hundred DM went to the shop to test its sound and compared that was really good, cant do that today, go somewhere and compare I broke that thing in the 2010s and sold the scraps problem is I assumed items and technology would only get better but really I bet I'd have to flush out a lot of money to find a comparable stereo today
so what youre saying is that you should have had your own bucket of mustard in your room?

Every year we have a designated electronics disposal day where you can bring electronics that are illegal to put in a landfill to town and recyclers/reclaimers will haul them away. My dad's a busybody and doesn't know how to just chill out and relax on weekends unless there's sports on tv, and even then he only watches that in the afternoons. So about 11 years ago on recycling day he got an itch to do something and decided to go around the house and round up old electronics and take them to town without asking anyone. All those items were set up in my childhood bedroom which I hadn't been living in for 2 years. A few weeks later I went up there to scan a document for my mom and saw a bunch of stuff was gone. What really gets me though, is he got rid of the 128GB HD but left the 8GB and 10GB ones. He knows computers, he can read the labels and understand drive capacity, and he knows you don't just get rid of a HD without cleaning it first. (The 128 was my music library, the 8 and 10 were just salvage drives from church computers with basically nothing but Windows)
